MacBook Keyboard Shortcuts: The Only List You Need — OnVerdict

The single biggest frustration when switching from Windows to Mac: your fingers press Ctrl, but Mac wants Cmd. Your muscle memory is wrong, and everything feels slow.

Here’s the fix. Print this page (use the Print button below), tape it next to your screen, and within a week your fingers will know the new layout. We organized it by what you’ll actually use — not alphabetically, not by obscurity.

The Golden Rule

Replace Ctrl with Cmd (⌘) for almost everything.

On Windows: Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+S, Ctrl+A, Ctrl+F… On Mac: Cmd+C, Cmd+V, Cmd+Z, Cmd+S, Cmd+A, Cmd+F…

Same shortcuts, different modifier key. That’s 80% of the transition right there.
